Walk the Talk Reaches Yulu-Burri-Ba

Little trip across the bay and I’ve made it to Minjerribah and stopping by Yulu-Burri-Ba Aboriginal Corporation for Community Health.

Yulu-Burri-Ba is a community controlled health service that provides primary health care and associated health services to the community of North Stradbroke Island at Dunwich, and Brisbane’s Bayside suburbs of Wynnum and Capalaba. They offer a range of medical, health and social and family wellbeing services both in clinic and visiting including: general practice, nursing and Aboriginal Health Workers, dental, pathology, counselling and psychology, women’s health, women’s and men’s groups and a range of services specifically targetting the health and social needs of children. They also connect to after hours care services to ensure their patients needs are able to be met at all times.

If you’re an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person living in the Bayside area or on Minjerribah, look up Yulu-Burri-Ba to see what they can do for you and your family. You can find out more at: https://www.ybb.com.au/

Heading back towards the mainland with a couple of places to visit before I start to head up the coast!
