Walk the Talk Reaches Mudth-Niyleta Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation

Heading up the coastline and I’ve stopped in Sarina to visit Mudth-Niyleta Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation.

Mudth-Niyleta provides a range of essential services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples living in and around Sarina, including Aged Care, Family Wellbeing, Community Housing, and No Interest Loans.

Their Aged Care service includes the ability to provide individual and group social support, home maintenance, respite care and personal care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples 50 and older.

The Family Wellbeing service targets vulnerable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people (unborn to 18 years) at risk of entry or re-entry into statutory child protection system, and their families.

If you’re an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person living in on near the Sarina area, you can find out more about the services Mudth-Niyleta provides through their website: http://www.mudth-niyleta.com/

Onwards and upwards a little ways to Mackay!
