Just round the corner and up the street and I’m at Akeyulerre Healing Centre.
Akeyulerre was established by the Arrernte people by Arrernte Elders to support and strengthen Arrernte families and communities. They provide a number of programs and services focussed on strengthening Arrernte culture within the community. Health specific programs include Angkwerre-iweme traditional healers, Interrentye bush remedies, and Elder Support services such as visiting hospital and aged care facilities.
