Walk the Talk Visits Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Women’s Council

Still in Alice Springs and I’ve made it to the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women’s Council.

NPY Women’s council is led by women’s law, authority and culture to deliver health, social and cultural services for all Anangu in the Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) region of Central Australia. Health specific services include traditional healers (Ngangkari), child and family wellbeing, youth programs including case management and recreation, the Tjungu aged care and disability program which includes support, respite, advocacy and case management, and domestic and family violence.
